How many guests can join the charter?
Max number of guests is 6 but if you have more guests please call to see if we can accommodate you.
Who are the captains?
Your captain will be Jordan Kamae.
What charter options do you offer?
We offer Private Day Charters in two options: Half Day (4–5 hours, up to 30 miles round trip and 6,000 ft depths) and Full Day (8–9 hours, up to 60 miles round trip and 12,000 ft depths). Distances and depths depend on weather.
What types of fish might we catch?
Common catches include Mahi Mahi (Dolphin), Wahoo (Ono), Yellowfin Tuna (Ahi), Skipjack Tuna (Aku), Amberjack (Kahala), Barracuda (Kaku), Bigeye Scad (Akule), Leatherskin (Lai), and various Marlin and Sailfish.
What is the fish policy?
You may take your catch home. The captain will split it fairly – guests typically leave with about 30 % of the catch.
Where do you depart from?
We depart from Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor.
What time should we arrive for check-in?
Please check in 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure.
Is the boat private and covered?
Yes – it’s a private boat with a covered cabin and an onboard toilet.
What should I bring on board?
Bring your camera, hat, rain jacket, sunglasses, preferred food and drinks, and a small cooler for your catch. Please apply sunscreen before boarding.
What’s included in the charter fee?
Crew, rods, tackle, bait, ice, and bottled water are all included.

What age is a fishing license required?
Fishing licenses are required for 15 years and older and older. They can be purchased at https://fishing.hawaii.gov/login
Is there a minimum age for fishing?
The minimum age for fishing is 8 years old. But we would like you to call and check in personally for more information.
Do you provide transportation from or to the airport?
We do not provide transportation to or from the tour location. A Rental Car, Taxi, Public Bus or Uber are the local available options that our customers use
Are there any special exemptions for active military members in terms of a fishing license?
Active military members are exempt from needing a fishing license.
Is a deposit required?
Yes – full payment by credit card is needed to reserve your charter date.
I have a Groupon ticket, can I use it? If so, how?
You can use your Groupon Ticket. Just give us a call at (808) 637-9737 and directly make your reservation with one of our team members.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Venmo, and cash.
What tipping is customary?
A 15–20 % tip of the charter fee is typical.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are fully refundable.
